What you will do

First we will see the Westgate , the Great Hall and talk of our first literary character, King Arthur! Then the High Street and talk about Thomas Hardy and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. And of course Winchester Cathedral and Jane Austen. Then we will walk the River Itchen, that inspired John Keats, followed by the ruins of the Bishop of Winchester's Palace before ending our walk on College Street at the Kingsgate.
