What you will do

From the village of Westerham, birthplace of General James Wolfe, we hike through the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with breath-taking views over the surrounding countryside. We ascend through woodland to Toys Hill and Mariners Hill, passing historic Chartwell where Winston Churchill lived, and then descend back to Westerham. You’ll explore the history, wildlife, geology and geography.

What's included

Hike led by qualified Lowland Leader and Tourist Guide. Local homemade cake.

What I might need

Walking boots / shoes. Waterproofs and layers of clothing suitable for the weather conditions. At least 1 litre of water. Packed lunch.
