Step behind the scenes of a china clay museum! Help to get the Victorian clay works ready for the day by diverting water, using sluices and priming the slurry pump to wake up our water wheels. Learn about Victorian engineering in the peace of the historic grounds before the public arrive for the day

What you will do

9.15 - arrive for a tea or coffee and an introduction top the site 9.30 - Join the team to have a tour of the Victorian clay works, taking in pit view and working your way around the site getting the pumps and waterwheels primed and up and running for the day 11.15 - Crib time brunch bap and tea or coffee in the café 11.45 - feel free to explore the site further and make the most of your day at Wheal Martyn

What's included

Tea & coffee on arrival and at the end of the experience with a crib time brunch bap. Steel toe cap shoes provide. Full day admission to the museum and site
