Experience Overview

A gentle night-time guided walk enjoying the views and breathtaking open skies from the South Downs. This can take place either in either West or East Sussex at Bignor or Birling Gap

What you will do

With a hugely experienced and qualified local guide leading the way, venture out into the South Downs National Park and enjoy the vast open skies from viewpoints at some stunning locations. Along the trail, your guide will pause to enlighten you on the fascinating natural history and geology of the area - there may even be time to refine some night navigation skills. While you walk, make the most of the peace and stillness; listen for nocturnal wildlife, soak up the 360 degree panoramas, spot Sussex villages, local landmarks and the coastline, and weather permitting, take the time to wonder at the stars and planets as they appear.
