What you will do
Meet in Buckden before heading up stunning and little-visited Buckden Gill, passing many waterfalls, to reach the fascinating remains of Buckden Lead Mine. A short final pull takes you to the summit of Buckden Pike (702m) where you can admire the view over a picnic lunch. Return to the village on ancient tracks, passing the WWII War Memorial, and enjoying stunning views along Wharfedale before relaxing over a well-earned drink in the village pub.
