Experience Overview

Walk the orchards and tour the cider house and our Somerset Cider Brandy distillery. There will be extensive tastings and bread and cheese to follow

Fitness level

We do a small orchard walk but otherwise it is not strenuous.

What you will do

Upon arrival you will have a drink and take a walking tour of the orchards to learn about what makes them so special. We then move through the cider making process, tasting along the way. Then it is onto the Somerset Cider Brandy distillery to learn about reviving this ancient craft. We then go to the barrel store for more tastings. Afterwards we will have a basic ploughmans in the orchards. People not drinking will get samples to take home.

What's included

A guided orchard walk, a personal tour and tasting of all Burrow Hill cider's artisan produce. A personal tour and tasting of Somerset Cider Brandy production. A ploughman's of local produce.

What I might need

Bring shoes suitable for walking in the orchards and cold or wet weather gear if the weather is bad.
